From James Carley's notes: Redware jar 6 1/2" high. Brown body with black glaze with metallic flecks. Sides somewhat concave. Slight incised line half way down. There are small chips in the glaze at shoulder and lip. A crack on the rim. These three pots were purchased in the east in the mid-thirties.
