From James Carley's notes: Redware cylindrical storage jar, 2 qt. capacity. 8 3/4" high, with angled shoulder and rounded lip. Lead glaze, quite red. Purchased Fredricksburg VA. The dealer got it in Straford, Conn. Paradise Green, from the old Freeman Curtis House.
