From James Carley's notes: Redware jug 10 1/4" high. Well formed handle coming off the shoulder. Incised line at the shoulder. Glaze is chipped off at the lip and at the base. There is a hole in the base to wire for a lamp. The glaze is green with yellow spots (orange in the centers.) It was sold as Galena ware at an Indianapolis show. But iti is obviously from New England.
