From James Carley's notes: Redware jar, 6 1/4" high with rounded rim and angular shoulder. A coggle wheel line 1 1/2" down from the shoulder. Light brown transparent glaze, with some brown slip spattered or sponged around the lip, the shoulder, and in three vertical columns spaced around the sides. Purchased Indianapolis. The dealer called it Penn. Dutch.
