From James Carley's notes: Stoneware Crock 8 1/2" high, of gray salt glze with tan blushes, and brown beauty spots. Brown slip inside. A slightly raised 3/4" band about an inch below the rim. Good shape. Purchased at a garage sale of an Indianapolis woman who was going to live in a trailor.
