From James Carley's notes: Cream earthenware bowl 6 1/2" high. 16" dia. Tan glaze. The entire interior up to the collar is decorated with a coggle wheel pattern spiraling from the center. Mark: 4 scratched inside collar. A few small pits in the body. Purchased Larry Lowman, Hickory NC. He said it was Chesapeake Bay Pottery.
