Description
This letter, dated January 22, 1952, from United States (US) Representative Usher Burdick to Rose Drags Wolf concerns per capita payments for the tribal members of the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Fort Berthold Reservation. The letter states that Burdick is in favor of a per capita payment system over the present arraignment because he believes that the tribal members should be allowed to spend their own money.
