Description

This letter dated October 27, 1949, from McClean County Auditor Gilbert Holtan to United States Representative Usher Burdick states that McClean County has not received its anticipated revenue from rental monies collected by the United States Army Corp of Engineers. In the letter Holtan provides figures regarding the disparity in former monies collected compared to current monies and outlines reasons why the figures have been off as the Garrison Reservoir fills. The letter is marked with the handwritten annotation “Garrison.”
