This handwritten letter, dated April 23, 1956, from Myrtle Old Dog to United States (US) Representative Usher Burdick appears to be part of a letter-writing campaign in support of US Senate Bill 2151 (S. 2151) and per capita payments. Old Dog says that she is in favor of the earliest possible passage of the bill as it will be most useful in early summer. About half a dozen similar letters were in Burdick's files.
