Description

This letter, dated March 20, 1956, from Three Affiliated Tribes Tribal Chairperson Martin Cross to United States (US) Representative Usher Burdick expresses satisfaction at the news that US Senate Bill 2151 (S. 2151) and US Senate Bill 1528 (S. 1528) passed the US Senate. Cross expresses displeasure at the prospect of a small per capita payment of $200. Cross does not want to bill amended to specify a small per capita payment.
