This letter, dated June 2, 1954, from United States (US) Representative Usher Burdick to Three Affiliated Tribes Tribal Chairperson Martin Cross expresses regret that Cross did not accomplish his goals in his pursuit of the $200 per capita payments. Burdick says that he will help Cross as much as he can.
