Description

This letter, dated July 18, 1952, from Laura Page Knudson on behalf of the office of United States (US) Representative Usher Burdick to Jim Black Dog concerns per capita payments. The letter states that Laura has discussed with US Senator Young's office an issue involving a deduction in Lilly Wolf's payment. The letter states that Young's office said the deduction was related to a loan from the Tribal Business Council. The letter also mentions that James Smith has not received payment for his labor at a lumber pile and that Smith should see Martin Cross.
