Six students from the Pageant of the Northwest portray "The Death of Verendrye." The English Coulee runs in the background. The Pageant of the Northwest was written by eighteen students under the supervision of Orin G. Libby and Fredrick Koch. The pageant employed several students and a few Native American extras to portray the four successive stages of the exploration of the Northwest.
