Description

The photo shows a bag of Dakota Maid bleached, enriched white flour. Dakota Maid claims to be quality millers since 1922. The State Mill and Elevator at Grand Forks produced flour products which were sold all over the state and in other states as well. The mill adopted the brand-name Dakota Maid for its flour products. The profits from the sale of flour and the management of the mill returned to the state's treasury. See https://statemuseum.nd.gov/photobook/details?I%20RecID=PH_I_88991
